Keeping traditional Celtic culture and music alive for over 25 years.

The Pipes and Drums of the Jersey Shore Shillelaghs was created in 1998 to promote the fun and enjoyment of bagpipes and drumming as a way to keep in touch with our Irish culture and heritage. We are a non-profit organization. Approximately 20% of our performances are for charities, fund raisers and other volunteer organizations. The band is sponsored by the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh of the Jersey Shore, Belmar NJ. All we request is that our members have an honest interest in the growth and character of our band.

Monaghan is one of the oldest pipe bands in the United States, and traces its origins back to 1929. The Band's mission is to promote the public appreciation of playing pipes and drums through fellowship, performance, competition, and continuous development of skills.

The Guard is a non-profit org- anization dedicated to promoting the Celtic arts through musical performance and competition.

Our goal is the higher learning of music as played on the "Great Highland Bagpipe", as it pertains to the history and origin of our Celtic roots.Ê Our intent is to entertain people at a high level of performance.
